A fabulous Antique Suffragette necklace featuring a beautiful Art Nouveau pendant with lovely flowing curves and foliate motifs decorated with Pearls, a pear cut Amethyst dropper and a rich green Peridot in the centre.
Together the colours of each stone pay tribute to the women’s Suffragette movement which took place in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which symbolised; Violet for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, or Give Women Votes!
The pendant is 9ct Yellow Gold and fitted with a pin at the back so it can also be worn as a brooch. It’s a lovely antique find and complete with a 9ct chain to display it on.
